What the job actually is

In-home appliance repair across Westchester County. You are given a route out of the White Plains shop, a stocked van and an arrival window, and you are trusted to diagnose the machine properly rather than to get through as many calls as possible.

Who we are looking for

  • A driving record that needs no explaining, and a background check that passes without one either.
  • Somebody who can work in a kitchen with the family still in it and describe a problem in words they will repeat correctly to their partner later.
  • The judgement to know when a machine is finished, and the nerve to say so with the invoice unwritten.
  • Hands and a meter. EPA 608 is useful; if you do not hold it yet, we will pay for it.
