Any repair company will tell you it is prompt, honest and reasonably priced. None of those words mean anything on their own, so here is what each of them costs us to say.

The price is on the website before you dial

Go to the pricing page and read what your problem starts at. Very few companies in this trade will put a number anywhere a customer can see it, and the reason is not mysterious: once a price is public, it can no longer be decided in your kitchen with a warm refrigerator behind you.

Insured, checked, and ours

New York does not license appliance repair, which means nobody is checking except us. So: full insurance, a background check on every technician, EPA Section 608 certification for anyone opening a sealed system, and no subcontractors. The person at your door is on our payroll.

The machine is tested, not guessed at

A description over the phone narrows a problem. It does not identify one. The technician takes readings and pulls whatever the board has stored, because the same error on two machines can be a $40 part on one and a $340 part on the other, and there is no way to know which from your kitchen doorway.

One number, agreed before anything opens

Diagnostics first, then a single price covering the part and the labor, then your decision. The diagnostic charge folds into that price once you say yes. Nothing joins the invoice later.

We will talk you out of some repairs

Past half the price of comparable new equipment, on a machine already beyond two thirds of its life, you are better off buying and we will say so. That conversation loses us the job about twice a month. It is also why the same households keep calling.

Weekdays and Saturdays, out of White Plains

8am to 6pm Monday through Friday, 9am to 3pm Saturday. The whole service area sits within half an hour of the shop, which is what makes a same-week slot a real offer rather than a hopeful one.
